Why Counselling?
Counselling provides you with a safe and confidential space to explore whatever questions and issues you may have in your life, helping you to make those changes that you feel would benefit you most.
Whilst you may wish to only deal with a specific issue that is causing you distress, counselling can also provide an opportunity to learn more about who you are as an individual and the place you have in the wider world.
Counselling could therefore be considered as a journey towards self discovery, self growth and self understanding and can be a deeply rewarding experience.

As well as this, I have had specific training in working with transgendered individuals and adolescents and have undertaken additional courses in Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy, Trauma focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Polyvagal theory and Time Limited Counselling.
